Here are some of our favorite NT65MA2 features.

 

• Air Duster

At first, it seemed like such a no-use feature, but as we kept on using, it turned out to be really handy. We would use it to blow off dust or even pieces of plaster. It was great. If it went missing, it will certainly be something that we would miss. Great feature. This feature definitely makes the NT65MA2 nail gun a great product.

 

• Lightweight

Nailers like these can be heavy, there is no secret to that. This one, however, was very lightweight. It only measures 4.4 lbs, great for a nailer of this caliber.  That will be something you would notice you have used other nailers in the past. The weight is great because it creates less strain on the arms.

It is also really ergonomic with a great rubber grip that made the drill very easy to handle.

 

• Drive Depth Adjustment

As trimmers, we work on different sized things all the time with trim nailers like this NT65MA2 from Hitachi. For the longer nails and harder woods, you would want the stronger force to drive that nail flush to the surface. The opposite goes for thinner thin and much softer materials.

The good thing about this angled finish nailer is that you can easily adjust the depth of the drive. The dial is also very easy to control.

 

• Angled Design and Great Magazine Design

Another favorite we have about this finishing nailer is that it comes with an Angled Magazine. Why is that good? It’s good because the 34 Degree Angle allows users to get to most places.

In addition to that, the magazine also provides a window so you can monitor how many nails you still have.

 

• Easy Adjust Nailing Style

We also love the fact that the Hitachi allows for tool-less setting selection. You can just move the control up or down to choose either continuous or intermittent nailing.

We like using the intermittent nailing feature when we are not working on a straight plane, the continuous nailing action is great for jobs that need to be done quickly.

 

• Easy to Deal With Jams

Not that jams happen often with this home improvement tool. In fact, jams seem to be a rare occurrence for this one, say out of 200-300 fires you only get 1 jam – not bad at all.

However, when jams do happen, you can easily access the problem and remove it.

Disadvantages

One of the complaints of those who have used this product is that it this finish nailer is much more expensive than the other nailers in the market are.

However, despite the noise, this nailer is certainly a lot more powerful than the other brands. You will definitely be able to get a lot more work done.
